Benchmark receives United States Patent for SlurryWatch® remote slurry monitoring systems

Benchmark Research and Technology, LLC was issued a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for its SlurryWatch® remote slurry monitoring and delivery system. SlurryWatch® allows Benchmark to track various properties of the slurry, as well as monitor various aspects of the slurry storage and delivery system. The system allows Benchmark to schedule production and timely delivery to customers when the volume of the slurry at a remote location falls below a predetermined point.

Mixing adequate quantities of consistently high quality slurry in the field has always been a difficult process due to the constraints and conditions required to maintain its chemical and performance properties. Over time, these slurries are susceptible to degradation—particularly settlement of the suspended polymer or particulate. Constant monitoring and mixing tasks may significantly strain the available technical and personnel resources, leading to product waste, or worse, to job failures.

SlurryWatch® simultaneously monitors multiple slurry storage systems at several remote locations from one central location. Changes in the condition of existing slurry, system leaks, and other malfunctions in the slurry storage system are promptly detected so that corrective action may be taken. SlurryWatch® offers a complete, one-stop solution to customers dependent upon a reliable supply of “field ready” slurry.
