New Green biocide has great potential in oil field

April 4, 2008 - Benchmark announced today that it had inked a deal with I.E.T., Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (OTCBB: IEVM) to acquire a number of I.E.T’s EcaFlo® units. The units produce two types of environmentally-responsible, cost effective “ECA” solutions: Anolyte, a broad-spectrum, non-hazardous, neutral pH, “natural” germicidal agent used to kill all types of bacteria, fungi and microorganisms, and Catholyte, an anti-oxidizing, “green,” solution used as a degreaser or detergent. Benchmark Energy Products will use the units to produce biocidal solutions to manage bacteria down-hole and in “frac” water, without the use of hazardous chemicals.
